People, society who adhere to Islamic rules will be honored: Ayatollah Ramazani

On Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021, at the martyrdom ceremony of Imam Reza (a.s.) in the Martyrs of Zahab Square in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Moral virtues are among the issues that Muslims should observe.”

“Observance of ethics in Islamic society is essential. All the prophets came to educate us,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “For the man to become a servant of God, he must seek Marefat (divine knowledge) and worship.”

“Adherence to individual and social ethics is effective in all areas of life,” he added, stating that worship, Marefat, and divine trials are for man to reach and get closer to God.”

“The deeper a person’s beliefs are, the more they can influence human behavior,” Ayatollah Ramazani noted, emphasizing that there is a close relationship between ethics, Ahkam (Islamic religious rules” and beliefs.

“If one prays with all its etiquette, it is effective for him to know God. A true Muslim is one whose behavior conforms to the divine teachings,” he stated.

“Our behavior must reflect Islam,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “People and society who adhere to the Islamic rules will be honored.”

“We must train our body organs, intellect, and soul in such a way that the result is manifested in our behavior,” he said, “Spiritual positions are achieved through effort. Man must pay for what benefits him.”

“The human ear should not be used for gossip and slander. The eyes and tongue should also be controlled. Because, many sins come out of the tongue,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.

“Many people have left their Nafs alone. The cunning Nafs is against the direction of Fitra, and must be adjusted according to the direction of Fitra,” he said, “According to reason, man should use the experiences of others.”

“Reason leads us to know Imams, theology and knowing the Resurrection. Without reason, man cannot go this way,” pointed out the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“We must be diligent in training our intellect. Wise men are, religious and thoughtful,” he stated, “Some people perform Wajibs but they feel no change in themselves. This is because they have not made the preparations in themselves.”

“Throughout history, there have been people who even memorized the Quran but stood up against God,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “One of the things that has damaged Muslims in history has been a lack of understanding of duties.”

“A wise person is one who makes people feel calm. Sometimes the wrong upbringing makes families feel insecure about each other. Because beliefs have weakened,” he emphasized.

“People should be thankful because thankfulness makes man progress,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Society must be on the path of seeking science and knowledge.”

“Being religious means acting according to understanding, and on the Day of Judgment, human beings will ascend by their understanding from the signs,” Ayatollah Ramazani said, “One of the practical programs of Imam Reza (a.s.) was reciting the Quran. He always respected human beings.”
