In the name of freedom, the West promotes vulgarity: Ayatollah Ramazani
The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “In the name of freedom, the West seeks to promote vulgarity in society. Only in terms of vulgarity, there is freedom in the West, while in other areas of human life, they only claim to have freedom.”
ABWA Official Website – On Thursday, July 20, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the morning of the second day of Muharram at the shrine of Lady Fatimah Ukhra (a.s.) in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “There are two types of proximity. The first is from God, and the second is from man. Through knowledge, worship, and service to others, man should bring himself closer to God.”
“In order to be close to God, man must refine and cultivate his soul,” he stated, “As long as man does not reduce his ties to the [material and mundane] world, he will not be able to get close to God.”
“Man needs to show his friendship with God and AhlulBayt (a.s.) in a practical way,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
“Imam Ali (a.s.) is the truth of justice. In order to take a step in the path of justice, a person should seek help from Immaculate Imams (a.s.) and Imam Ali (a.s.),” he expressed.
“Man is obliged to fight against the subversives and insulters of religion. The peace emphasized in the Quran is based on justice,” emphasized the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts in another part of his speech.
Referring to the false claim of real human freedom in European and Western countries, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts said, “In Germany and Austria, if someone denies the Holocaust, he will be sentenced to several years in prison.”
“In the name of freedom, the West seeks to promote vulgarity in society. Only in terms of vulgarity, there is freedom in the West, while in other areas of human life, they only claim to have freedom,” he said.
“Some think that there is complete security in the West,” the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated at the end, “While there really is no such thing.”
