The unveiling ceremony of the book “A 250 Years Old Person” in Bengali was held with the presence of Sayed Reza Mir Mohammadi, Attaché culturel of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangladesh, and Hojat al-Islam Sayed Ibrahim Khalil Rizvi, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

In a meeting with the Superintendent of Thai pilgrims, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “By the grace of God, Thai Muslims have great potential, however, this capacity and potential must be properly managed and directed, and Muslim leaders must perform their duties competently.”

The representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Bangladesh stated, “With the presence of three thousand followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) from all over Bangladesh and with the cooperation of the government, the mourning ceremony on Arbaeen Day of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is held every year in Khulna.”

Regarding the role of Shiites in political and social affairs, the expert on Turkish issues stated, “There are no restrictions on the Shiites from the Turkish government, and they are active. But they neither have much contact with the outside their circle nor are they very active in social affairs. Shiites in Turkey do not have a political party, and they keep themselves on the margins of society, in other words, they are cautious.”

In a statement, while denouncing the terrorist attack in Parachinar, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, emphasized, “Confronting terror, striving for Islamic unity, and maintaining the security of society are issues that should be paid more attention to by the Muslims of Pakistan and the international community.”

The Afghan member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Shiites are a minority in Afghanistan, and they constitute only about a quarter of the country’s population. Being a minority has caused various obstacles for the country’s Shiites, and the efforts to remove these obstacles have not been enough so far.”

In a statement, the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences for the terrorist incident in Parachinar and the martyrdom of several Pakistani Shiite teachers.

A member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly from India stated, “More than 70% of people in India are Hindus, and Muslims are a minority in the country. Therefore, in general, the Muslims of India are facing challenges. When Muslims are a minority in the country, the Shiites of India are considered a minority within a minority.”
