Also, steps have been taken to establish women’s centers in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon,” he continued.

“In this general office, we are looking to launch a digital library, to be a reference for the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school. Also, we are looking to use the capacity of cultural centers in the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” added the Director General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Research on how to present lifestyle of AhlulBayt (a.s.) to world

Following the meeting, referring to the approach of the Research Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Farmanian, Director General of Studies and Research of the Assembly, stated, “This office is looking for some grand strategies in order to offer the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to the world. The question that arises is how to present the lifestyle of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to the world, and in this regard, we welcome the proposed ideas. People seek to preserve their material life in the manner of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).”

“We seek to present five slogans as the slogans of the Research Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. To promote the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.), the Shiites must go from denial to proof, from negative to affirmative method, from extremism to balance, from lack of connection to interaction, and from feeling to reason,” he continued.

“In the research office of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), we support the submitted projects as much as possible,” noted the Director General of Studies and Research of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Cyberspace has the most audience to convey a message

Also, Hassan Sadrai Aref, the head of the General Department of Cyberspace of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said in the meeting of cultural centers affiliated to the assembly, “A few days have passed since Eid al-Ghadir. It is our mission to preserve and promote what has become a Shiite slogan.”

“Today, cyberspace has the most popular audience to convey a message. This environment has affected our spiritual and material life. So that we are connected to cyberspace from morning to night,” he continued.

“The General Department of Cyberspace of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly seeks to create a database of international actors in cyberspace in order to better reflect the message of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in today's world,” Sadrai Aref pointed out.

The importance of the manpower training for the success of missionaries

In another part of the meeting, referring to the need to train missionaries, Hojat al-Islam Valiullah Madanipour, head of the General Department of Education of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, said, “Preachers must learn cultural management in order to work coherently in their countries, and the General Department of Education of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly can serve foreign missionaries in this regard.”

“In order to be effective in their own countries, missionaries must set up training offices. Because manpower training is also one of the tasks of the General Department of Education of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” he continued.

“The General Directorate is ready to train and provide training to people from different countries, and has a plan for synergy in this area,” added the head of the General Department of Education of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The need for a network of Shiite jurists to defend Shiites rights in the world

In the final part of the meeting of cultural centers affiliated to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the month of Muharram, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the Assembly stated, “The month of Muharram is coming, a month which has special features. The revival of the religion of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) is through Ashura and Karbala. Apparently, the incident of Ashura is an incident that happened in a day and a half, in which the two groups faced each other, and that, one group lost everything. On the surface, such an incident should be forgotten. But as time goes on, the Ashura incident becomes more vivid and effective than before. The secret of this issue is the four elements that have made Ashura last and effective.”

“The first element for the effectiveness of Ashura incident, is the Martyrdom. When man sacrifices his everything in the way of God, the reward of martyrdom will be with Him Almighty. Throughout history, the martyrs have been influenced by their sincerity. The element for the survival of Ashura throughout the history, is the element of Captivity, which destroyed the evil propaganda and clarified the truth. The third element for effectiveness of Ashura, which was emphasized by the infallible Imams (a.s.), is the element of Pilgrimage. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) emphasized that we should pilgrimage Karbala. In the hadiths, the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (a.s.) is mentioned as the best deeds, and for it, many worldly and otherworldly rewards are stated. The fourth element for the survival of Ashura throughout the history, is Mourning and mentioning the event. Ashura is not just a day and a place, but is a struggle between right and wrong, and an eternal struggle in history,” he continued.

“Today we have spaces and situations, and we must use them to make the most effort and hold the best ceremonies. In this regard, we can use cyberspace. During the holy month of Ramadan, we had 3,000 virtual Minbar (pulpits) for various human societies by non-Iranian scholars,” added the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“A network of Shiite jurists is needed to defend the rights of Shiites around the world, and creating such a network should be on the agenda. The policy of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is to protect the Shiites,” said Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the need to defend the rights of Shiites in the world.

“We built houses for different nationalities. In this regard, the “House of Africa” has been launched, and we are setting up the “House of Afghanistan”. Regarding the identification of the Shiites, no serious work has been done in the past in the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. Since last year, we have taken steps in this regard to accurately identify the situation of the world’s Shiites. In this regard, some work has been done, but it is not complete. Shiites live in 148 countries, and the status of each community must be determined,” he continued.

“We no longer have a plan to publish books widely in Iran. We are looking to publish the books of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in other countries. All proper contents available in cyberspace has been collected in a portal called “Rahnama” in 47 languages and all followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) can use it,” added the deputy for scientific and cultural of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“For the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, a human network of followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and a media network must be created. Art tools should also be used to promote the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” said Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the need for creating a network of Shiites.

“The digital library of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has not been launched yet. But we anticipate that this library will be available to people around the world in 2021. In this library, all the works that have been written about Shiites throughout history in different languages will be available to the public,” he mentioned.

In EU countries, religious centers become most important medical centers for Covid patients: AhlulBayt University President

In EU countries, religious centers become most important medical centers for Covid patients: AhlulBayt University President

In the conference “Religion, Health, and Humanitarian Aid” which was held on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), Hojat al-Islam Dr. Saeed Jazari Ma’moui said, “Last September, the issue was first debated in the Vatican Cardinal Council, and the outbreak of Covid-19 sparked a series of debates, requiring a synergy between religious and health centers.”

“In June 2020, health centers and nursing homes in Italy, France, and Portugal were overcrowded with malignant patients. With the Pope’s message, the church doors were opened for the first time to accommodate Covid-19 patients to help the health organizations,” added the President of AhlulBayt (a.s.) University.

“At the Vatican Cardinal Council, it was emphasized that there is a relationship between religion and health, and that this relationship must be brought to the field. This is an opportunity for the church to introduce people to religious structures. These meetings were successful and now in various cities in Italy and France, religious centers have become the most important medical centers for Covid-19 patient,” he added.

Appreciating the Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), the deputy for International Affairs of AhlulBayt (a.s.) University, and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in holding the conference “Religion, Health and Humanitarian Aid”, Dr. Jazari Mamoui expressed hope that this path will continue.

Saying that Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, has had more than two decades of experience in dealing closely with the academic and religious centers in the West, the President of the University of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) stated, “The experience of cooperation between scientific, medical, health and health centers with religious centers is very valuable for holding this conference.”

Today we need religion, health institutions/ Religion guarantee for human health: Ayatollah Ramazani

Today we need religion, health institutions/ Religion guarantee for human health: Ayatollah Ramazani

In the conference “Religion, Health, and Humanitarian Aid” which was held on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, while appreciating the organizers, called for the invitation of scientists in various fields, scientific discussions and called for the international dimension of the conference to be more highlighted.

While condoling the martyrdom of Imam Baqer (a.s.), the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Among the Imams (a.s.), the scholarly character of Imam Baqer (a.s.) provided the ground for a great university, in which he trained students and various enthusiasts in various fields. The first ten days of Dhuʻl-Hijjah are the stage of reaching the perfection of the conduct of the people of knowledge. These are the days when the man can reflect on his true self.”

“Health comes from perfection, which can be related to both the body and the soul. If we examine different areas related to humans, we will reach this relationship,” he said, referring to the theme of the conference “Religion, Health and Humanitarian Aid”, describing it as important.

“In recent centuries in the West, there has been a pessimistic approach to religion. Some have claimed that there is no connection between religion and truth and that religion is not real and, as Ayatollah Motahhari quoted from them, it is superstitious,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Herbert Spencer and Auguste Comte, and some other Western scholars, consider ignorance as to the cause of worship and inclination towards religion. The attitude of these people towards religion has nothing to do with spirituality, mysticism, and health. Even today, spirituality is propagated without revelatory religion and God. In this pessimistic view, religion has nothing to do with physical and mental health and is in conflict with it,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued.

“According to the late Ayatollah Motahhari, the prophets were sent to invite mankind to worship God. Worship is one of the inner and innate tendencies of human beings. The prophets were sent to call humanity to the true Deity, to distinguish the true Deity from the false Deity,” he said, pointing out that there is no era in human history when religion and God have not been mentioned.

“Concerning humans, there are three types of definitions: At first view, man is limited to sense and matter, the second view is the view of the rational man, and the third view is that of the intuitive human being. Some thinkers also believe that man has two realms of matter and the realm of meaning,” added Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that knowing about the man and his existential areas is one of the most important points that should be analyzed today.

“Man must be able to manage himself accurately with rational and revelatory management,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Religion has a duty to provide a program to regulate and balance the realms of matter and meaning. With this view on religion, each of these terms finds its own place. When we look at religion from this perspective, religion is responsible for modifying the health of the body as well as modifying the health of the human soul and mind,” he said, stating that the field of matter and the field of meaning should be examined.

“If the truth of religion, which is related to the truth of human life and Fitra, is introduced, humanity, today’s generation and the young generation of society will fall in love with religion and its truth, and this issue depends on what discourse and literature we use to introduce religion. There is definitely no violence in Islam, but this religion is full of mercy and love. Like weeds, Some people try to prevent the deepening of the truth of religion and we must stand against these people” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.

“In a classification, Imam Ali (a.s.) classified the sciences into four branches: ‘Jurisprudence is for religion, medicine, for the treatment of diseases of the body, grammar, for the protection of language from error, and astronomy for the knowledge of time.’ This classification shows the importance of health science and being aware of the sciences of the time,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Today, many books and narrations have been written about the health of the body, for example, Imam Ali (a.s.) told Imam Hassan (a.s.), ‘Son! Shall I not teach you four tips to help you get rid of medicine?’ Imam Hassan replied, ‘Yes, Amir al-Mu'minin!’ Imam Ali said, ‘Do not sit at the table, except when you are hungry and do not get up from the table, except when you still want to eat; chew the food completely; and Go to the bathroom before going to bed. If you apply these four tips, you will not need medicine’,” he added.

“In the developed world, people have achieved many things in life welfare affairs and science. But anxiety, stress, depression and suffering from lack of identity are more prevalent in these countries than in developing countries,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to research and statistics published in Western countries on physical and mental health.

“Man needs the peace that comes from within him and his nature. If peace comes from within human nature, it will be lasting,” he added.

“Today we need religious and health institutions. Religion and health should be scientifically defined and compiled in textbooks, at different levels. Religion and health should also be addressed in different ways in the arts,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“If we consider the Quranic verses and the hadiths carefully, we will find that religion considers itself responsible for human health, and wants to guide human beings in a way that leads them to enjoy the health of body and soul,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.

“In one of his fatwas, Imam Khomeini said, ‘It is Haram to consume anything that harms the human body.’ That is, religion deals directly and indirectly with health,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, stating that human beings are not allowed to harm their bodies, and maintaining health is obligatory.

“Religion should not be introduced to today’s society dogmatically and stereotypically. Today’s human society, especially in the international arena, if become acquainted with the moral, mystical, rational and other dimensions of religion, the winner of the field will surely be the one who offers the best thought,” said Ayatollah Ramazani in the end.
