ABWA needs to highlight the Islamic human teachings: Ayatollah Alidoost
About the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and ABNA News Agency, the seminary professor stated, “I am aware of the activities of the Assembly, and in this regard, I can only say that may God reward you.”
ABWA Official Website – The opening ceremony of the 6th Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat was held on Sunday, January 7, 2024, with a speech by Ayatollah Arafi, the director of Iran’s seminaries, and attended by provincial and seminary officials at the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Complex of Martyrs Cemetery of Qom.
In an interview with ABNA on the sidelines of the exhibition, Ayatollah Abulqasem Alidoost, professor of higher levels of Qom seminary, stated, “In my brief visit to this exhibition, I find it organized, valuable, exquisite and orderly by the grace of God.”
On the emphasis of Islam on research, he said, “You know that the principle of research is very emphasized in Islam. So that God has sworn by the pen in the Quran. It may be said that the meaning of pen in the Quran is something else, but in any case, it also includes the normal pen. After this oath, God has sworn by “what is written”. In any case, it is valuable to provide books and research works to the society. That is, researchers and those who write and promote writing, do very great and valuable actions that do not need to be explained.”
About the works presented in the Meshkat book fair, a professor of the higher levels of the seminary stated, “It is somewhat difficult to judge books presented in the exhibition. Because someone can judge who has seen all the books. But it can be said with certainty among the published works, there are great works. On the other hand, it can be said that there are works that would be better that were not published and presented, which are difficult to distinguish. Especially since we live in an era where contemporaneity makes us not understand the value of some works. Therefore, the works of contemporaries are less visible and often less presented. I saw that some theses had been published as books while visiting one of the booths. Perhaps, in one way, turning the thesis into a book is not the right thing to do. But it is good because the fruit of individual effort can be seen in any case. In this way, a generation that has not yet been proven is proven, and this is valuable for this reason.”

It is worth mentioning that the 6th Exhibition of Books and Scientific Achievements of Seminary Research Centers entitled Meshkat is open to the public from 7 to 12 January from 9 to 19. In this exhibition, more than 80 seminary research and publishing organizations, including the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, display their scientific and research achievements in 68 booths.
