Ayatollah Ramazani visited the Imamate Foundation of Ayatollah Milani
In the new management period, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly seeks to improve communication with centers and institutions related to AhlulBayt (a.s.) and use their capacities.
ABWA Official Website – In a meeting with Ayatollah Milani, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “In the new management period, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly seeks to improve communication with centers and institutions related to AhlulBayt (a.s.) and use their capacities.”
In this regard, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly visited Imamate Cultural Foundation, under the management of Ayatollah Sayed Ali Hosseini Milani.
In this meeting, while expressing his gratitude to Ayatollah Milani for his efforts in promoting issues related to Imamate (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “About 3 or 4 months ago, during my visit to India, I visited the tomb of the author of the book “Abakat”, which had abandoned but spiritual atmosphere.”
Following this meeting, on Thursday, June 8, 2023, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Hosseini Milani, the head of the Imamate Cultural Foundation, along with his accompanying delegation, met with Ayatollah Ramazani and was informed about the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this meeting, on the main reason for establishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the Assembly, stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established at the request of a group of Shiite ulama of the world, and with the support of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution. The General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has 700 members from Shiite figures and intellectuals of the world.”
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly seeks to manage the affairs of the Shiites of the world. Because the Shiites of the world need scientific, educational, and research promotion. Unfortunately, Shiites in some countries do not have a high level of knowledge. Therefore, we need native missionaries to promote the knowledge and awareness of Shiites,” he added.
Explaining the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is in contact with 3200 missionaries in different countries of the world. So far, 2,000 research works in 58 languages have been published by the Assembly. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has so far introduced 41 Shiite ulama and figures in Google Scholar. At AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, students from 29 nationalities study at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. This university is connected with the scientific circles of different countries. Al-Thaghalayn satellite TV operates in Arabic, and we are looking to increase its languages. Around the world, 80 local assemblies (affiliated to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly) are active. ABNA News Agency also operates in 27 languages and is an influential media outlet that publishes news of the world’s Shiites.”
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is the connecting link between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers and the Marjaiat. We must use the capacities of Qom and Najaf and introduce the works of the seminaries of these two cities to the world. Therefore, we can introduce the works of the Imamate Cultural Foundation in WikiShia in the form of new entries. Because the WikiShia encyclopedia has 300 to 700 thousand visitors on a daily basis,” he added.
“The virtues of AhlulBayt (a.s.) are infinite, and we must introduce different dimensions of the character of those dignitaries. AhlulBayt (a.s.) are the mediators of divine grace and the means to reach Allah, and we are obliged to introduce the Family of Revelation to the world in a comprehensive manner,” added the professor of higher levels of the Qom seminary.
Emphasizing the necessity of signing a memorandum of understanding between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Imamate Cultural Foundation, he said, “The fields of cooperation between these two institutions should be specified, and the conditions for its implementation should be provided in the form of a memorandum.”
Further in this meeting, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Hosseini Milani, the head of the Imamate Cultural Foundation, introduced this foundation and said, “Before the establishment of this foundation, all topics related to Imamate throughout history were carried out in the form of individual activities, and were not in the form of a specialized field or scientific institute. But now, in this foundation, for the students of the third level of the seminary, a specialized course on theology with the orientation of imamate is held. Among the other activities of this institution is Imamate specialized magazine, which has achieved many successes by publishing scientific-research articles.”
“No matter how much we do about AhlulBayt (a.s.), it is not enough. The different dimensions of this family are so large and wide that what has been done and is being done is insignificant compared to what is supposed to be carried out,” he added.
Regarding the duties of ulama and religious institutions towards the Shiites of the world, the head of the Imamate Cultural Foundation stated, “We are obliged to strengthen the faith of Shiites and invite others to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school. On the other hand, it is necessary to correctly introduce the fundamentals of this school and the Shia, and not hide or downplay anything. Because the Shiite school is so strong that it is exempt from secrecy.”
“Missionaries must be strong and defend what they say. Therefore, they should be trained in such a way that they know the method and manners of preaching, strengthen the faith of Shiites, and invite others to the Shiite school,” Ayatollah Milani stated at the end.
At the end of this meeting, Ayatollah Sayed Ali Hosseini Milani, the head of the Imamate Cultural Foundation, and the accompanying delegation visited the temporary exhibition of the works and activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
