When I saw him, I remembered the verse "Who has a better call than him who summons to Allah and acts righteously and says, ‘Indeed I am one of the Muslims’?" (Quran 41:33). Patience was one of his characteristics, he was an inviter to God. His actions were exemplary and did not contradict each other. His words were medicine and cure. It did not matter to him who the addressee was, he said I was a Muslim. ", Hassoun said.

"Ayatollah Taskhiri was one of the inviters to God. Some people attacked him, but his love entered the hearts and the smile did not leave his face", he concluded at the end of his speech.

Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla – Iraq

Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla, head of the Iraqi Sunni Scholars Association, said, "This ceremony is held to tell about the different aspects of the life of Ayatollah Taskhiri, the great man and the prominent scholar. As I knew, Ayatollah Taskhiri spent his whole life in the path of Islam and calling on God and the unity of Muslims, which was not an easy task. "

"The path of Islamic unity was created by scholars such as Imam Khomeini and Martyr Sadr; and Ayatollah Taskhiri continued their path in practice. He traveled to various Islamic cities in the East and West of the world and invited them to unity. He was honest in the way of Islamic unity", he added.

"What had been written in books and articles about Islamic unity was implemented by Ayatollah Taskhiri. At a time when American and English-affiliated Islam is seeking dissension and carnage, we need to inspect and study the views of Ayatollah Taskhiri on unity. And also at a time when there were extremists among Sunnis and Shiite, Ayatollah Taskhiri respected the views of other religions", he stated.

"He was a legend", Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla, head of the Iraqi Sunni Scholars Association concluded about late Ayatollah Taskhiri, "We lost him when the Islamic Ummah is in the most difficult situation and we must be united with each other and adhere to the verse "and do not be divided" (3:103) and maintain and strengthen the Islamic unity."

He was a comprehensive figure, jurist and familiar with the issues and necessities of Islamic society. To the people and the Ulama, he told the plans and conspiracies of the enemies with the right tact and method. He had many blessings in his life and it is a model for us. He founded the AhlulBayt (a.s.) world Assembly, The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and International Islamic Unity Conference and played a unique role in creating Islamic unity. "Ayatollah Taskhiri learned religious and Islamic concepts from Martyr Sadr and other Ulamas, and had a correct vision and perspective on the religion of Islam, and had a coherent view of the Shia Islam. His message, like the message of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), was all-encompassing and included all religions. He had a lot of experience in scientific and practical activities and was like a father to us. And he guided us when he came to Africa. He was my teacher and sent me to South Africa from the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. Ayatollah Taskhiri had a good relationship and interaction with the Islamic schools of thought and did not see any contradiction between propagation and Tabligh for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the unity of the Islamic denominations", Aftab Haidar Razavi stated.
