Desire of fasting people to taste sweetness of remembrance of God/Remembering God way of life of pious, the morality of benefactors: Ayatollah Ramazani
“Being always in the remembrance of God is the way of the pious people and the morality of the benefactors,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Tasting the sweetness of remembrance of God is one of the desires of fasting people during Ramadan.”
In the seventh episode of the special internet program “Facing the Sky”, which is broadcast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out that Ramadan is the month of God’s feast, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “Among the things we ask God for during the holy month of Ramadan is the success for Zekr (remembrance).”
“Man must remember God in order to achieve a kind of physical and mental peace,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that tasting the sweetness of remembrance of God is one of the desires of fasting people in the month of Ramadan.
“Remembering God has many virtues that bring the highest benefits and the best pleasure to human beings,” he emphasized, stating that the Holy Quran and Revelation have determined the way to achieve peace through the remembrance of God.
“Being always in the remembrance of God is the way of the pious people and the morality of the benefactors,” Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Good people try to benefit from the remembrance of God.”
“Hypocrisy is a serious danger to human beings. Some people behave and speak hypocritically. This hypocrisy may manifest itself in many situations in life,” he added.
“The fact that God says in the Quran, “Remember me, I will remember you,” creates a kind of security for human beings,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that human beings should strive to calm and train their souls by remembering God.
“Remembering God is not just a verbal expression, but man must be the truth of remembrance,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the concept of remembering God.
“Prayer, Hajj, Jihad, enjoining the good, forbidding the evil, and anything that is in the path of worship can give peace to man,” he clarified, pointing out that many things can play the role of Zekr.
“The heedless man accompanies the devil,” added Ayatollah Ramazani, saying that if there is no remembrance in human life, life will be bitter and difficult.
“This cruelty of the heart leads man to all kinds of corruption and ugliness,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that those who do not remember God and are not people of remembrance reach a kind of cruelty of heart.
“A hard-hearted person is of no use to himself or others,” he said, considering the cruel heart to be far from flexibility and delicacy.
“Being always in the remembrance of God is the way of the pious people and the morality of the benefactors,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Tasting the sweetness of remembrance of God is one of the desires of fasting people during Ramadan.”
