Geography of Resistance expanding: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The geography of Resistance is expanding and is becoming more and more vast.”
During his visit to Lebanon, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with Dr. Khalil Hamdan, Deputy for Educational Affairs of the Amal Movement.
In this meeting, while welcoming the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the accompanying delegation, Dr. Khalil Hamdan said, “Today, many conspiracies are being carried out against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Shiites in order to weaken the Resistance. But a lot of blood and martyrs have been sacrificed to keep the Resistance steadfast. Despite many difficulties, today the Amal movement and Hezbollah have been able to keep the resistance alive, and it has been realized with the support and guidance of Imam Khamenei.”
AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has been successful
“Regarding the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, I must say that I am honored to have participated in the conferences and programs of this blessed Assembly several times. By holding collective programs, the Assembly is trying to solve the problems of the Shiites of the world, and praise be to God, it has been very successful. The Assembly has done good work in all aspects to promote the Shiites and support the oppressed. We are ready to expand our cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” he continued.
“Islamic Republic of Iran is an important country because its leader, Imam Khamenei, has presented a new theory in the international: oppressor and oppressed countries. Previously, theories have been based on strong and weak countries, or Islamic or non-Islamic countries. But Imam Khamenei divided the countries into two categories: oppressive and arrogant countries and oppressed and non-arrogant countries. The theory presented by Imam Khamenei is a novel theory,” added Deputy for Educational Affairs of Amal Movement.
The geography of resistance is expanding
Following the meeting, while offering condolences to the martyrdom of the Lebanese people in the terrorist incident, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, said, “I offer my condolences on the martyrdom of several innocent Lebanese people as a result of the terrorist incident. Three members of the Hezbollah movement and three members of the Amal movement were among the martyrs in this terrorist incident. This means that both the Amal and Hezbollah movements are standing against the enemies of Islam and humanity. The leaders of the Amal and Hezbollah movements have emphasized on unity and solidarity. Today, the method of Imam Musa Sadr and Sheikh Shamsuddin must be compiled and published systematically. This method must be followed in the intellectual system, in the field of dialogue, and even in the military sector. We commemorate the memory of Martyr Mustafa Chamran and Sayed Ahmad Khomeini who believed in this movement.”
“In the West, many believed that there would no longer be a religion-based revolution, and that a society in which a revolution was emerging would go secular, and as a result it would no longer be a religious revolution. They believed that even if a revolution took place, it would be a secular or with no religion revolution. But a religious revolution emerged by Imam Khomeini. After the Islamic Revolution, the Western philosopher Michel Foucault came to Iran and wrote articles about the Iranian revolution and mentioned it greatly. After the Islamic Revolution, two fronts of infidelity and Islam have now been created,” he continued.
“When Imam Khamenei offers congratulations on Imam Mahdi’s (a.s.) birthday, he does not address only Muslims, rather, he congratulates all the oppressed people of the world. Because Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is not only for Shiites. In the pilgrimage letters we address him, “Peace be upon you, O Imam of Human and Jinn”,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“40 years ago, there were two blocs. The Eastern Bloc was dissolved. At that time, no one in the West had the right to comment or confront the Western bloc. But today, thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Western Bloc has also reached its sunset and has been criticized and confronted by the Resistance. At that time, Westerners were free to enter Iran and decide for the country, while the Shah was not informed. But today, with its military power and technology Iran is at the negotiating table against the six world powers,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the collapse of power blocs in the world.
“Today, political supremacy, once dominated by the United States, is over, and this is a victory for Muslims and the resistance, and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Shiites played a key role in this victory. Imam Musa Sadr was one of the pioneers to establish Resistance against the arrogant. Today, this Resistance, along with Hezbollah, is the best. God willing, we will see the strength of this Resistance more than before. We need to know that the geography of Resistance is expanding and becoming more and more vast. Cultural and educational work is very appropriate. We need to train forces with Resistance thought while their bodies are strong,” he continued.
Then, Dr. Bilal, the head of the educational affairs of the Amal Movement, provided statistics on the movement’s educational activities. According to the report, the elites of the Amal movement hold national and international positions, and about 16,000 students are supported by the movement. The movement educates 800 orphans and children of martyrs for free, and 100 medical students are studying in Iran on full scholarships from the Amal movement. Amal students also won first place in a robotics competition in the United States.
At the end of the meeting, the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the education department of the Amal movement decided to sign bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding in the future.
