Helping Palestinians, oppressed people of Gaza, high priority: Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi
The Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the World AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly stated, “Against 75 years of crime, aggression, bloodshed, infanticide, genocide, and looting by the Zionists, the Palestinian nation has the right to retaliate, and every conscience and fair human being gives this right to the Palestinians.”
ABWA Official Website – Following the interviews with analysts and pundits regarding the operations of the Resistance Front and the recent crimes of the Zionist regime, especially the bombing of Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza, ABNA News Agency interviewed Ayatollah Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi, the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Markazi Province.
At the beginning of this interview, Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi said, “I offer my condolences for the tragic martyrdom of a large number of innocent women, children, and civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, southern Lebanon, and other places by the child-killing, criminal and genocidal Zionist regime. Also, I would like to appreciate and thank the zealous and courageous sacrifice and struggle of the brave sons of Palestine in the confrontation against the Zionist conspiracies.
About “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm”, he said, “To be honest, Operation Al-Aqsa Storm is a valuable and sacred initiative. We say a good job to the Palestinian Resistance, and we kiss the hands and arms of the zealous Palestinian and Lebanese youth and all those who are concerned for Islam, the Holy Quds, and the oppressed Palestinian nation.”
While expressing his sympathy with the people of Gaza, the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “We also share in the great tragedy of Zionist criminals' aggression against the oppressed people of Gaza, and we are restless. We want the people of Gaza to be saved from the clutches of cannibalistic wolves. In this way, God will help the Palestinian people and will grant them victory. We ask all the Muslims of the world to stand, make sacrifices, and strive for the all-dimensional support of the Palestinian people: economic support, medicine, treatment, slogans, demonstrations, and any kind of support that strengthens the Palestinian front angers the Zionist criminals. Therefore, supporting the people of Gaza is the national and Islamic duty of all Muslims in the world.”
“Palestinians have the right to defend themselves,” he added, “For about 20 years, the people of Gaza have been under siege and live in a kind of roofless prison. Thousands of them are innocently in the worst conditions in the horrible Israeli prisons and are constantly exposed to Zionist crimes and bombings.”
“Every human being with honor and conscience admits that oppressed people have the right to defend themselves. The Palestinian people are the oppressed who have the right to defend themselves against oppression. How long Palestinian people can be patient? Therefore, they have the right to respond to Zionists’ crimes,” Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi emphasized.
“Against 75 years of crime, aggression, bloodshed, infanticide, genocide, and looting by the Zionists, the Palestinian nation has the right to retaliate, and every conscience and fair human being gives this right to the Palestinians. In this regard, God says in Quran: “أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ” (Those who are fought against are permitted [to fight] because they have been wronged, and Allah is indeed able to help them.) (Holy Quran, Surah: Al Ḥajj, Verse: 39) According to this Quranic verse, God has allowed the oppressed to defend themselves and promised them victory. Therefore, self-defense is a natural, legitimate, legal, national, and international right for the oppressed Palestinian people to preserve their right to life and existence,” he continued, pointing out the crimes and mischief of the Zionists.
“If there was any doubt or question about the Zionists’ crimes in the past, their recent atrocities made everything clear to the world people. The Zionists and their criminal supporters, including the Americans, do not value human lives, and the killing and massacre of a nation is more pleasant for them than mother’s milk! Today, Zionists destroy cities, and bomb and demolish hospitals, schools, churches, and mosques. They massacred more than four thousand people including more than 900 women. Whereas according to human rights written by the West, civilians should be safe and if a war breaks out, it should be between the military forces, and innocent women and children, and hospitals and mosques should not be targeted,” added the representative of the Supreme Leader in Markzai Province.
Addressing international institutions, Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi said, “Where are human rights when the Palestinian nation is massacred? Where is the United Nations? Where is the Security Council? America, England, France, and some Islamic countries support the criminal Israel. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the secretary-general of the Arab League, claims that Hamas is a terrorist at the Cairo peace meeting! While America, Israel, and England are terrorists and terrorist nurturers, and Israel was formed with the support of Britain and the Balfour Declaration. Biden says that if Israel did not exist in the region, they would build it! He asked Congress to allocate financial aid to the usurper regime. America provides prohibited weapons and its fleet to Israel. These are the false claimants of human rights! If it were not for the support of America and the West for Israel, the Zionists would never have been able to commit these crimes.”
Regarding the duties of Muslims towards the Palestine cause, the Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “In this sacred defense, the world Muslims must provide financial aid, lives, arms, facilities, medicine and treatment to the Palestinian people. Helping the Palestinians and the oppressed people of Gaza is the highest priority. Measures must be taken that make Israel repent of its crimes. I hope that the international communities, Islamic countries, non-Islamic countries, and freedom seekers of the world will act, struggle, and strive to save the Palestinian people. In this regard, we urge Islamic countries in the region, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, to be serious about helping the Palestinian people. Also, we urge the zealous people of the Islamic world to support the Palestinian people. If race is a priority for Arab leaders, they should be reminded that Palestinians are also Arabs and should be supported.”
We expect the Islamic countries to be more decisive in supporting the rights of the Palestinian nation, and to provide them with material and spiritual aid, and any help they can. Most importantly, the bombing of Gaza should be stopped immediately, and the oppressed people of Gaza should receive serious international support, and their needs should be met, including food, medicine, and treatment,” he emphasized.
Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi demanded the trial of Zionist criminal leaders. “It is necessary to try the Zionists and their supporters immediately in a fair international court. Because if this trial is postponed, they will become more violent and bolder. Netanyahu must be held accountable for his crimes. The Palestinian people will try him in court,” he added.
“The world Jews must prevent Zionists from committing crimes in the Palestinian land. They must denounce Netanyahu. Because the religion of Prophet Moses (p.b.u.h) was never a religion of murder and crime. Murder is not in the Torah. Zionists and their supporters have claims that do not exist in the religion of Moses. The religion of Moses, like the religions of Christ, Noah, and Muhammad (p.b.u.h) came for justice and brotherhood of humans. All humans are brothers and from the same parents (Adam and Eve). Human blood is respected. The Zionists’ crimes show their vile and inhuman nature and show that they follow a school other than Judaism. Therefore, some Jews and Jewish elders are against the Zionists. Even the existing distorted version of the Torah does not allow Zionists to commit crimes,” he added.
The Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his hope that the Islamic countries including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, UAE, Qatar, etc., will rise up and hand in hand rush to help the oppressed people of Palestine.
“After 75 years of the massacre of Palestinians and the demolishing of their homes by Zionists, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the secretary-general of the Arab League, who should defend the rights of the Palestinian nation, claims that Hamas is a terrorist at the Cairo peace meeting! Well done to the Emir of Qatar who bravely left the meeting, and well done to the people of Iraq who came to the streets wearing shrouds and demonstrated in defense of the oppressed Palestinian nation. Struggles and demonstrations throughout the Islamic world, and the East and West of the world, should continue until it humiliates Western and Zionist policymakers and politicians and tarnish their faces so that they know that they are alone in their evil politics, and not only Muslims, but all freedom-seekers in the world express their disdain and hatred for their crimes,” he said in the end.
