Hojat al-Islam Mohammadi Menesh, in charge of the booth of “Urwa Al- Wuthgha International Research Institute” in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, stated, “The organizers of the exhibition are trying diligently, and the logistics, support and exhibition venue are very suitable.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Hojat al-Islam Mohammadi Manesh, in charge of the booth of the Urwa Al-Wuthgha International Research Institute.

About the activities of Urwa Al-Wuthgha International Research Institute, he said, “Urwa Al-Wuthgha Research Institute was established in 2007. It used to be an institution, but due to many research activities, it has recently turned into a research institute and has an official license from the Research Department of Qom Seminary. Ayatollah Mohsen Araki and Hojat al- Islam Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari are members of the Board of Trustees of the Research Institute, and Dr. Mokhtari is the President.”

“Urwa Al- Wuthgha International Research Institute is more active in research, and has also authored works in Persian, Arabic and English languages. At the Lights of Guidance exhibition, we have presented more than thirty publications of the research institute in three languages. The activities of the research institute are in Iran. But we use international researchers, and in the future, we will open branches in some neighboring and European countries,” stated Hojat al-Islam Mohammadi Menesh, in charge of the booth of “Urwa Al- Wuthgha International Research Institute” in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.

“Holding such an exhibition is an outstanding move; international institutions and centers have presented their works; the organizers of the exhibition are trying diligently, and the logistics, support and exhibition venue are very suitable. But I think the exhibition is not well received. It is a pity that even though good works have been presented, the reception of the exhibition is low. Maybe there was a lack of publicity and there was a weakness in this regard,” he commented in the end on the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.        

It is worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
