Considering the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a miracle, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), “World Assembly stated, “Marginalized before the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, religion now plays a role in society and has an impact on everything.”

ABWA Official Website – On Thursday afternoon, February 16, 2023, at the closing ceremony of the exhibition “Scientific Discourse of the Islamic Revolution”, pointing to the necessity of training international researchers, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Today, we need to train researchers who can participate in various scientific meetings in the world. The books that were presented in the exhibition “Scientific Discourse of the Islamic Revolution” are felt missing at the reputable scientific centers of the world.”

“We should follow the example of the representative network developed by Imam Musa Kazem (a.s.) and define organizations and groups around the world that explain and promote the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings,” he continued, “Today’s society is thirsty for these teachings. Also, the ulama should have scientific and spiritual grandeur.”

Considering the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a miracle, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), “World Assembly stated, “Marginalized before the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, religion now plays a role in society and has an impact on everything. Before the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, religion was abandoned and there was a serious confrontation with it. At that time, the view of religion was superstitious.”

Pointing out his recent visit to Georgia, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “During this visit, the Archbishop of Orthodox Church of Georgia told me, “You haven’t experienced communism to witness 70 years of confrontation against religion.” About 300 thousand Shiites live in Georgia. During the rule of communism, these Shiites endured many hardships in mourning for Imam Hussain (a.s.). To mourn for Imam Hussain (a.s.), for instance, they would put a body in front of them and pretend to mourn for the body. In that era, the Shiites were in complete desolation. But they could continue their path.”

“When Imam Khomeini (r.a.) wrote a letter to Gorbachev, few people understood the significance of that letter. In his letter, he called for a redefinition of man. This invitation was a civilizational movement for the new world,” he continued.

“Today, some people seek to confront the influential aspects of religion. Philosophical secularism, for example, seeks to separate mankind from the Revelational teachings. The exhibition (Scientific Discourse of the Islamic Revolution) can be an answer to this thought. Also, institutional secularism seeks to separate the institution of religion from the institution of government. We are witnessing that some people who previously believed in religious rule, have now changed their opinion,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

While mentioning the efforts to restrict religion, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Sometimes inefficiency in a religious system is attributed to some managers. However, sometimes we see inefficiency attributed to the institution of religion, which is another matter. Some people believe that the establishment of a religious system should be postponed to the time after the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.). All of these arguments have no result except restricting religion.”

“Man needs spirituality,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “We see that more than 4 thousand new sects have emerged in the world. The conquest of mystic fields by these sects is due to the negligence that we have had. This is while there are so many hadiths about mysticism from the Infallibles (a.s.), that it is possible to compile the mystical encyclopedia of AhlulBayt (a.s.). Imam Khomeini (r.a.) revived various dimensions of religion, including the mystical dimension.”

“Holding the exhibition “Scientific Discourse of the Islamic Revolution” was a practical response to philosophical secularism and institutional secularism, and the news of holding this exhibition should reach them. One of the most prominent capabilities of Islam is governance and presence in the political arena. To confront Islamic thoughts, Western civilization has been trying to secularize religion or make the religious management system secular,” he continued.

“As much as it emphasizes love, Islam emphasizes resistance against tyranny. Resistance against tyranny is part of the text of divine religions. Divine verses have always emphasized the justly peace. Therefore, resistance must be redefined under love. The topics in the Quran regarding love are much more than what is in Christianity,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

While pointing to the trick of Western civilization to confront Islamic civilization, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “To confront the Islamic civilization, the Western civilization desecrates religious concepts. This is even though the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is against sacrilege. Today, we are witnessing the boost of Islamophobia, Shiaphobia, and Iranphobia to counter the Islamic Revolution discourse. Therefore, we must answer the doubts in the world with an understandable expression for the world people. In this regard, the clergy should shed light on the different dimensions of religion and its truth and essence in the international arena, with the international language.”

“The world is ready to welcome true religious thought,” he mentioned “Considering the capacities, religious teachings should be explained and promoted in the world, and in this regard, pathology is essential.” /345/
