In the first international conference of media activists of the Indian subcontinent, Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “The Infallibles (a.s.) are the best, and we must introduce them. Media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.) should be active in the revival of Ghadir and try to introduce the Infallible Imams (a.s.) to the world, especially to the elites.”

ABWA Official Website – On Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2023, the first international conference of the “Narrators AhlulBayt (a.s.)” was held, at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom conference hall, with the participation of a group of media activists from Indian Subcontinent countries, such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. The main speaker of the conference was Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

In this conference, while referring to the activities of media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.) in the Indian subcontinent, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “By examining these activities, we see that these valuable activities have been implemented with minimal facilities. The activities of media activists in the virtual space have a brilliant record, the crème de la crème of which was the hymn “Salam Farmandeh” (Salute Commander) in different languages and with beautiful translations, which made a good impression on everyone.”

Referring to the presence of most of the clerics and missionaries in the international arena at Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University, and the participation of the cultural director of the university in the first conference of “Narrators AhlulBayt (a.s.)”, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University shines in the world like a diamond. This university publishes the discourse and culture of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in the world, and the establishment of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) University is one of the achievements of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.”

“Bringing Islam to the social sphere is one of the most important achievements of the Islamic Revolution. This question should be raised that what was the position of Islam in the world before the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and what is its position in the world now? Today, we see the influence of Islam and Islamic movements, even in some Jew and Christian movements. Previously, some thought that by promoting liberalism, from then on, all revolutions will be secular and non-religious. But they faced the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a religious revolution that affected the whole world, and now we have a golden opportunity in the world,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued.

“Although we may not be considered among the most advanced in the world in terms of hardware, we have the strongest content in terms of soft power. No soft power can compete with the soft power of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school. The school of liberalism has faced problems in promoting rationality and spirituality in the world,” he said.

“Today we see many false spiritualities in the world. In Western countries, homosexuality is promoted, which is against reason, fitrah, and nature, a matter which is a moral crisis. We consider the pillars of the family to be a couple of a man and a woman. While in the West, every couple under the same roof is considered a family, even if they are of the same sex! The West seeks to spread these issues to Islamic countries and teach them in scientific centers,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the promotion of false and deviant versions of Islam in the world, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Today, we are witnessing the presentation of fake versions of Islam, such as liberal Islam and ISIS Islam, which have nothing to do with authentic Islam. Enemies have always sought to distort pure and comprehensive Islam, and now they use an interpretation such as compassionate Islam, from which the concept of absolute peace is extracted. While there is no absolute peace in Islam and what true Islam seeks is the just peace. In terms of dignity and justice, we have the most magnificent literature that we should promote in the world.”

“In media activities, we must have media literacy, skills, and ethics. In the West, they are looking for the rule of the Machiavellian system in the media in order to attract the audience at any cost. They adopt the same strategy in the field of politics. In Machiavelli’s literature, there is a conflict between ethics and politics. To show facts, we must use different formats such as cinema and animation, and learn the best formats,” he continued.

Emphasizing the necessity of continuing such conferences by ABNA News Agency with other activists, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “The manager of ABNA News Agency will follow up that this session will not be the last session of AhlulBayt (a.s.) narrators. We need a database of media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.), in which we can gather capacities. Such activists have a high capacity that together can create a big media wave. The establishment of the Union of Media Activists is also one of the issues that should be considered, and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is ready to help media activists in this regard.”

Pointing out the importance of Ghadir, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.) should be active in the revival of Ghadir. The important teaching of Ghadir is that the best people should be assigned to do work. While now we see that the worst are at the top of the international systems. The other teaching of Ghadir is that people should play a role in their destiny.”

“The Infallibles (a.s.) are the best, and we must introduce them. Media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.) should be active in the revival of Ghadir and try to introduce the Infallible Imams (a.s.) to the world, especially to the elites,” he continued.

“We pay the most attention to human rights. While the international organizations who claim to protect human rights, shrug in the face of the biggest violation of human rights by the Zionists. We should seek to pay attention to the fact that humanity is oppressed and confront ultramodern colonialism; a kind of colonialism that seeks to deceive people with modern literature. Among other things that we should pay attention to are paying attention to justice for all human beings and the rejection of violation and aggression. We should not oppress and we should not give in to oppression. We must confront the moral and sexual corruption that is promoted in the West,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the status of Islam in the world, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Enemies seek to distort the image of Islam in the world. Because the influence of Islam has become widespread in the world. Enemies promote ISIS-like or liberal Islam. They seek to promote Islam without resistance. While the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), who was the prophet of mercy, resisted the tyrants.”

“We must hope for the future of Muslims, make the Islamic world hope for the future of Islam, and strengthen faith and hope among Muslims. Shiite news should be published in the world according to AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings,” he continued.

At the end of his speech, referring to the mission of media activists in the field of AhlulBayt (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly noted, “Fighting against and enlightening about ignorance is one of the measures that should be taken. Because ignorance caused the silent Quran to be speared 30 years after the demise of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and the speaking Quran [Imam Husain (a.s.)] 50 years after the Prophet’s demise.”
