On the 7th day since the demise of the Ayatollah Abbas Ali Akhtari, the late representative of the people of Tehran in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, a commemoration ceremony was held in the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Portico of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah Masoumeh (a.s.) in Qom.

On the 7^th day since the demise of the Ayatollah Abbas Ali Akhtari, the late representative of the people of Tehran in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, a commemoration ceremony was held in the Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Portico of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah Masoumeh (a.s.) in Qom.

During the last half century, the noble nation of Iran has proved that by obeying the leadership and vigilant clerics, it stands up against all hardships in the way of the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.), as well as raising the flag of monotheism, and with such humiliating and cowardly actions, they will not retreat from their revolutionary positions and patriotic duties.

As a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the late Ayatollah Vahedi actively participated in the meeting and activities of the Assembly, and by establishing good relations with scholars and the Sunni Muslim community, he was influential in strengthening the foundations of Islamic unity.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Members of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly will meet with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.”

The Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with the Head of the Supreme Council of the Assembly.

Stating that the Zionist regime is an apartheid regime in all respects, the head of the Presidential Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People said, “Strengthening the cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Africa can play a significant and influential role in confronting global imperialism.”

Stating that Ta’zieh is an artistic performance that can be better understood in other languages, the head of Ashura International Foundation stated, “Ta’zieh is the use of art. Considering the rituals and capacities of the country, we should use art in its comprehensive and real sense to introduce the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.”
