Stating that there is no discussion about faith, Shiites, Sunnis, etc. in holding the international conference “Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h)”, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “The purpose of this conference was to introduce the spiritual, social and monotheistic personality of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) who was able to be effective during the Be’that and in the circumstances that many left the Prophet (p.b.u.h) alone.”

“Extensive work was done to honor Abu Talib (a.s.). I appreciate the organizers and Hojat al-Islam Ahmadi Tabar, who did valuable work with his team,” said Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the “Mysterious Rite - Commemoration of Hazrat Abu Talib” which was held at the “Institute of the House of Books and Literature of Iran”, expressing his satisfaction with attending this literary conference.


“In this conference, the reports will be comprehensively and accurately presented and will be published in the media,” he said, referring to the holding of the international conference of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.); Supporter of the Great Prophet (p.b.u.h) on March 9, 10 and 11, 2021.


“Sometimes a book is needed to describe a stanza of a poem. Some phrases need a comprehensive description. Like the poem that was written about the Prophet (p.b.u.h): ‘I am the effect with no cause, the cause has been my companion/ my child came in old times and in eternity my child of my child will come’, which is a kind of interpretation of the famous phrase “کنت نبیا و آدم بین الماء و الطین”,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, expressing that he loves poetry, literature, and poets of the people of wisdom.


“Composing poetry in the cultural, social, and political fields each has its characteristics and components,” said Ayatollah Ramazani.


“Poetic and literary talent is a natural and God-given thing that some poets like you have found and flourished,” he said, stating that you are familiar with the poems of the sage Sabzevari, whose deep philosophical discussions reflect the God-given poetic talent.


“In the political sphere, too, there were people who, when they wrote poetry, transformed society. Thus, some were exiled and imprisoned, and some were executed. AhlulBayt (a.s.) also praised and honored poets. Read the poems of De’bel al-Khuzai in the time of Imam Reza (a.s.) or Al-Farazdaq in the time of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) about those Imams. Each of those poems is a chapter to know a part of the teachings of religion,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.


“Hazrat Abu Talib Was of the successors (of the prophets) and custodians who did not withhold his personal, spiritual, social, political, and economic support of the Be’that. Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) defended and supported the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) with all his might. When he passed away, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) became so sad that he called the year of the loss of Hazrat Abu Talib and Hazrat Khadijeh as Aam al-Huzn (the Year of Grief),” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of, referring to composing poetry in the description and mourning of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.).


“In part of his speech, he said, “We love Abi Talib.”,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to his meeting and conversation with the Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi yesterday.


“Muhammad Khalil, one of the great Egyptian scholars, who is familiar with the poems of Abu Talib, has a book in the commentary on the poems of Abu Talib, in which he says, ‘The spirit of love and mysticism radiates in the words of Abu Talib and is a kind of miracle. His eloquence and rhetoric were exemplary and unique in the period of literature before and after Islam. The spirit of his poems shows the high thought and heartfelt faith of Abu Talib.’,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.


“The monotheistic greatness of Mr. Abu Talib (a.s.) is prominent and during the history and time of Bani Abbas, a serious distortion occurred about Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.),” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.


“Even Christians wrote books about his character. There have been some Sunnis who have written thousands or more pages about the character of Abu Talib,” he stated, saying that good books and articles have been written about the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) and specialized conferences and meetings have been held in his honor.

The issue of Islam is at stake. For this reason, the great scholars of Islam have had good participation.”


“It is important that a Sunni scholar has such an interpretation of Abu Talib (a.s.). This interpretation is profound, accurate, and correct,” he added, referring to the remarks of one of Syrian Sunni Mufti about Hazrat Abu Talib (a.s.) who said, “He was a believer that anyone who doubts his faith is a sinner”.


In the end, Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his hope that the “Poetry Circle of Hazrat Abu Talib” would be able to offer his love and devotion to this great figure of the Islamic world from a poetic and literary perspective.
