The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The language of the Quran is the language of reason and Fitrah so that people of all eras can benefit from it.”

World Assembly stated, “The West is trying to put the Islamic lifestyle - which is based on justice, spirituality, and rationality - on the path of secularism and liberalism. If the content of the government is associated with moral, cultural, and political liberalism, its principles and foundations will be deviated and go astray.”

On Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2023, in the gathering of professors and the clergy of Al-Mustafa (a.s.) International University, Tabriz branch, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “The language of the Quran is the language of reason and Fitrah in a way that people of all eras can benefit from it.”

Referring to some doubts and opinions regarding the Quran, he added, “According to some religious intellectuals, the Quran is not the book of law and life but contains some miracles and advice, and the verses related to resistance and jihad in it have no use in today’s world.”

“Some others considered the Quran to belong to a certain era, and some argue that its Arabic language indicates that it is specific to a certain section of people. In response to these people, it should be said that the language of the Quran is the language of reason and Fitrah so that people of all eras can benefit from it,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Part of the Quranic teachings is dedicated to training the holy tendencies of human beings,” Ayatollah Ramazani went on to say, “We can present Quranic teachings for all people in all fields, and not only for Shiites and Muslims, and not only for Abrahamic religions.”

“Quran is for humanity, and it is a book and prescription for different areas of life. According to the Quranic verses and Hadiths, our first duty is to understand Islam. We must learn the knowledge of Islam profoundly, understand it, believe in it, and be pious,” he stated.

“We need to learn Islam accurately, comprehensively, and deeply. If we learn Islam accurately, comprehensively, and deeply, we can teach it better,” pointed out the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Regarding society’s expectations from the clergy and clerics, he said, “People expect the clergy to learn religion (Islam) well, and to teach it correctly and comprehensively. In this regard, it is important to pay attention to the old customs and traditions of the seminary, and it is necessary to preserve and continue them.”
