As in previous years, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly participated in the Arbaeen Great Walk, and along with the enthusiasts of Imam Hussain (a.s.), walked on foot from Najaf to Karbala. In this journey, he visited the Grand Mowkeb of Imam Reza (a.s.), AhlulBayt (a.s.) University of Karbala, Mowkeb of Ashura International Foundation, Yas Nabawi Volunteer Doctors Clinic, and Mowkeb of Call of Al-Aqsa. The following pictures show some scenes of the walk and visits.

Wadi al-Salam is a cemetery located in the city of Najaf near the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.). Some hadiths show the virtues of this cemetery. In this cemetery, there are the graves of Hud (a.s.) and Saleh (a.s.), among divine prophets mentioned in the Quran, as well as the graves of many scholars and Muslims. Arbaeen pilgrims visit this cemetery for the pilgrimage of the Hud (a.s.) and Saleh (a.s.) and ulama, such as Ayatollah Qazi, as well as the brave man of Tangistan, Rais Ali Delwari.

On the eve of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the enthusiasts and mourners of that Imam reach Najaf, and after the pilgrimage of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.), they leave for Karbala.

Friday prayer leader of Najaf, “Since the fall of Saddam’s regime, we (the Iraqi nation), have fought against the challenges, and we were able to prevent the civil war and sedition of terrorism.”

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Holding a conference to introduce and commemorate Ayatollah Musawi al-Kharsan was necessary. He has great reputation and position, and it is our duty to introduce our dignitaries to the world.”

The director of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly Office in Iraq said, “With the efforts of Imam Khomeini, the Islamic Revolution of Iran achieved victory. Many pressures and conspiracies were made against the Revolution by both the Eastern and Western blocs. But the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) caused all these conspiracies to fail.”

On the birth anniversary of the great lady of Islam, the courtyard of Lady Zahra (a.s.) will be opened in the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.).

Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Al-Ayub, Director-General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met the tribal sheikhs of Najaf, Kufa and Shamia. In this meeting, Al-Ayub explained about the assistance of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in holding the preparations for the conference of Hussaini Mawkebs and the tribes who following the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in southern Iraq.
