Maximum participation in election increases security of Iran: Ayatollah Ramazani

Referring to the maximum participation in the election as a factor in increasing the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Maximum participation in the election shows that the relationship between the authorities and the people is strong and close.”

As the time for the presidential election approaches, pointing out that being Islamic, leadership and people are the three most important pillars of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Islam, as a comprehensive religion that deals with individual, social and governmental issues, is one of these pillars.”


“Given that part of the Islamic rules in various dimensions, in the individual sphere and mainly in the social sphere, in the teachings of Islam the need for a government is fully observed,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.


“The Leader (of the Islamic Republic) seeks to implement the rules of Islam in the strict and comprehensive sense of the word in the Islamic system, and to maintain the position and presence of the people as the principle of the republic,” he emphasized, referring to the pillar of leadership in the Islamic system, and playing his role as a defender of the Islam in the system.


Saying that the result of the pillar of Islam, is the legitimacy of the system, Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Of course, not extremist, liberal and aristocratic Islam. Rather, it is an Islam based on attention to human beings and human rights.”


“Religious democracy is one of the important points defined in the Islamic system,” emphasized the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, referring to the important role of the people in the acceptance and form of the Islamic system.


“They are the people who have appointed officials, and they have been busy working to serve the people,” he said, emphasizing that Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution believed that the officials should consider themselves the servants of the people and the nation as their guardians.


“The maximum participation of the people in the election can increase the internal and external power of the Islamic system,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that the election is a new opportunity for people who have plans and programs to solve the problems and comprehensive development of the country.


“The Supreme Leader’s clear view is that the maximum presence of the people is influential not only domestically but also internationally,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that the people are always present on the different aspects of the Revolution, and their capacity should be used in the social, political, cultural, etc. sectors.


“Maximum participation in the elections sends a message to the world that the people want the system and the Islamic Revolution,” he said, referring to the international dimension of maximum participation in the election.


“Maximum participation in the election will undoubtedly prevent the greed of the enemies for Islamic Iran,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.


“Over time, the country's authority must increase,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, expressing that the participation of the people in the elections gives authority and greatness to the Islamic system.


Referring to the maximum participation in the election as a factor in increasing the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Maximum participation in the election shows that the relationship between the authorities and the people is strong and close.”


“If the Western world and the enemies of the revolution realize this strong relationship, they will never allow themselves to infiltrate the country. But if this relationship is weak, the ground for infiltration is provided for the enemies,” added Ayatollah Ramazani.
