“Resisting the Enemies”, “Promoting Justice”, commonalities of political, religious leadership of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Khamenei: Ayatollah Ramazani
Pointing out that “Resisting the Enemies” and “Promoting Justice” are commonalities of political, and religious leadership of Imam Khomeini, and Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Imam Khomeini introduced us to a new world of knowledge and spirituality.”
On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Imam Khomeini in 10 years of leadership of the Islamic Republic, and today his worthy successor, Ayatollah Khamenei, have much in common in the field of the religious and political leadership of the Islamic Revolution.”
“These leaders of the Islamic world have been and are believers in the goal and path they have chosen,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei, are literally believers in God and emphasized on the trust in God.
“Imam Khomeini believed that today, Islam has a program in the political arena, in terms of content and form,” he clarified, expressing that Imam Khomeini, and Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, have faith and belief in the ummah and the nation.
“The proponents of communism failed to instill this thought in human societies. Because separation from God and religion is against human nature,” noted Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that in the past, the human world consisted of two poles, liberalism, and communism, which, of course, the communist view was left to the garbage of history after 70 years.
“Being popular and living a simple life has been one of the commonalities between these two religious and political leaders of the Islamic Republic,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts, expressing that Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, believed in the political system.
“Imam Khomeini considered the people as the guardian of the officials and believed that “the criterion is the vote of the nation”,” he noted, emphasizing that Imam Khomeini considered people as social capital.
“Mass participation in elections today, strengthen the Islamic system (Iran) in the international arena,” noted Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the opinion of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, regarding the maximum participation in the elections.
“We should not have a dogmatic and stereotypical view of religion. Rather, we must know that religion honors the man and human society,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, emphasizing the strategy of religious democracy by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
“If the Muslim community practices religious and Islamic behaviors, their honor, dignity, and pride will increase day by day,” he emphasized, pointing out that religion gives intellectual, moral, and spiritual superiority to human beings in the individual and social spheres.
“Integrity and ethics in management and politics, regardless of security or military issues, should be the top priority,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, stating that rationality, spirituality, justice, and resistance to dictatorship would lead to honor.
“American advisers once had immunity in the country (Iran). But today, the Islamic Revolution has threatened the interests of arrogant countries,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that “Resisting the Enemies” and “Promoting Justice” are commonalities of the political, and religious leadership of Imam Khomeini, and Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.
“The Islamic Revolution of Iran changed the equations of arrogant powers, and the enemies fear the authority of the Islamic system,” added Ayatollah Ramazani.
“The more the "Resistance Front" shows its power, the weaker the enemies of Islam and humanity become,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the recent Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime.
“Of course, Islam never seeks war, but if attacked, defense is a necessary, intellectual, natural and religious duty,” he added, stating that many are looking to hit the “Resistance Front”.
“Islam seeks that no one oppresses another and that there would be no oppressor and oppressed, ruler and ruled, and slave and servant,” noted Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that since its advent, Islam has sought to guide human beings towards truth, and avoidance of falsehood.
“International dominant countries seek to enslave humanity. This issue is also mentioned in the 24 protocols of Zionism,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the existence of modern slavery in today’s world.
“Today, if we can strengthen the Muslim Ummah politically, culturally, economically, etc., the influence of world powers will be prevented,” he said, considering the attention to unity and solidarity among Muslims as other commonalities of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei.
“According to Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei, the unity of Muslims in intellectual, social, military and spiritual power is essential,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out that holding a conference for Islamic countries is effective in consolidating the power of Muslims in the world and the region.
“These two prominent leaders of the Islamic world sought to make Iran stronger day by day. This authority will be provided by the collective will and self-sacrifice of the Muslim Ummah,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, pointing out that the comprehensive development and progress of the country as other points emphasized by Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei.
“Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, believe that we can be a scientific, spiritual, and moral force in the region. We have to accept this, and we must recognize and flourish capacities,” he said, emphasizing the scientific and military power of the country.
“The issue of ethics and spirituality is also mentioned in the statement of the “Second Phase of the Revolution”,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, considering the emphasis on morality and spirituality as other commonalities of the religious and political leadership of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.

“The realization of justice is the ideal and aspiration of all divine prophets,” he said, stating that all three branches of power in the country (Judiciary, Executive, and Legislative) in their constituency should work for justice and the fight against corruption.
“Unfortunately, a superficial view of Islam has deprived us of the accurate, complete and comprehensive teachings of Islam”, noted Ayatollah Ramazani, pointing out, “Islam has the best teachings in individual and social life.”
